Just for the record, Devil alerted me to the incident, and immidiatly offered the full penalty of death and more.
The incident is unfortunate, but I have to give credit were credit is due.

you are probably right. He did mess up and i have no intention of banning him from LoR.
However he will be punished for his actions and i will see to it. Just as we would of done to kid if he didn't delete

i see states becoming "rouge" but nothing is done about it.

Oh and BTW i take total responsibility for my actions for double tapping the top 10.
I know you dont want to hear excuses, but i was switching back and forth between the TLJ and this server, i failed an attack on this server, went over to tlj cashed a few turns to get 15bil in the bank then came back to this server, saw a state with a few hits on it, one hit was failed (which was my previous one, and you have to realize im at work so i dont have much time to analyze all the hits rq) and So i hit, then later realized i had just double tapped someone (big woop tho. one failed and one regualr LG, not like he lost anything, just gained GB) after I got a stern talking to from Devil..

my member came to me and notified me that he made a mistake. I went to Devil and notified him of this. We fully admit our mistake, and have used FA to avoid any unwanted trouble.
Both doubles cancle each other according to LOR leadership, the topic is now MUTE.

One of the main reasons doubletapping in top ten is not allowed by nations is the amount of army lost from an attack, so your failed SA still hurt a lot, and you don't gain GB from failed attacks so he didn't gain a whole lot. but you've manned up and apologised which is nice.

double tapping isn't really allowed because a lot of old WoW'ers/NW'ers used to play earth. Which all landgrabs are retalled. But gb in earth is different so you can loose a ton of land (ie getting farmed) Since most players in the top10 dont get grabbed by many people they have the no double tap in top10 to prevent farming. Imagine the top 1 spot has the chance to double tap 2nd ,3rd and 4th players all in one other nation. He would be getting a ton of land from just those 3 states alone it would be percieved him farming that nation. Thats why it became general curtesy for 1 hit every 36 hours.
It doesnt really have much to do with unit losses because they are relativly low until the last week when people start going ship heavy

I was going to make a statement about this however, I was not sure of the facts in this case. I should have just came out with it, Thanks for clearing that up Devil. Too bad everytime something bad happens in NW everyone automatically assumes its LoR related..

im not saying it was LoR but playing devils advocate (or should i say, Devils persecutor :P) it should be pointed out it was a restart and could well have been a LoR state earlier on in the game which didnt rejoin LoR. obviously it could just have been someone who doesnt like Max. could have been a time when it could have been me...but me and Max are :wub: now :)

really the only reason i targetted max was bc i knew i probably couldnt break any lor state
and the fact that i dont like max, but that played little into my decision
i wanted to hit a top 10 state, figured most LoR players would be defended well as they warred alot in the set
i was a restart state that didnt make one SA attack and was all jets and 10k spies
figured max would have the least protection plus its not like he wouldve had a top finish anyways so its not liek i messed up his finish
