The Aug set will be the last set for Resurrection. In Sept a new server will be opened and the game will host many changes. Later in August i will list a few of the changes that will be made and i will also select some members to test it.

I think it will.. Lots of things will be different.. along with new rules :) I'll make a more detailed post as the time nears..

I really didn't plan on releasing the new server till Jan 2010, but i figured if things keep going the way they are, we won't be here in Jan 2010 lol, so i figured what the heck.. Might as well release it now and maybe this will help attract new members.

The main parts of the game isn't going to change. But lots of new things will be added, layout and navigation will be different, a new attack will be added, a personal bank will be added (separate from the nations bank), PM will be redone, foreign relations pages all redone, basically a major overhaul of all the pages as many of them were confusing and cluttered.

As for the rules, we are tossing out ALL of the rules that have been "created" over the years by all the members. We will be starting totally fresh. The main rules will still apply but all of the unwritten rules need to and will be erased. We need to break the connection between World of War 2002.. Way too many things have been carried over to the new game.

Round lengths will also be changing.

A speed round server will be added and the only way to enter it is to purchase a pass with credits (prem members will receive a few free passes to use) --- ( this won't start in Sept, still need to change things on this before it's fully ready)

Seeing the new server will be released early, i have removed a few of the things i had in it already. This way new things can be added each set, to keep things fresh..

I will be personally funding an advertising budget so we can get our name out in other places other then free..

Spam section will return to the forums, a new and updated version of the casino has been added to help with downtime, the credit system is changing, a new store will be added with nice Nation-Wars T-shirts for purchase..

Lots and lots of changes are headed our way. Many of our members are working hard to gain new members. I can't thank you enough for all the help many of you have given... Basically the bottom line is, the new server, new advertising and new members will make or break us.. Let's pray for the best..

Will TLJ continue? And maybe keep Res open as a Prem only server, so those who appreciate the old game can still play it?

TLJ will continue for now and the new changes will not be implemented on that server. In fact i'm thinking of removing some things.. Like the war prep and a couple other features that really are not needed on that server.. I am please with the activity of that server though. So far most of the members seem to enjoy it.. I'm also thinking maybe the rounds should be a tad bit shorter though.. But we will see what everyone thinks when that round gets closer to the end..

About those who appreciate the old game, i was thinking of making a special server called "Classic NW" which would be the plain version of NW before any changes were made. Basically it would be WoW prior to it being taken down. Maybe make it so you have to purchase a pass with credits or something.. It's not a high priority at the moment.. I don't want to have tons of servers with different games. it's too hard to manage them all and keep up with them.. Perhaps the classic NW server would replace TLJ.. who knows.. these are just some things i have in the back of my head.. :) along with all the other garbage lol

January 2010 is LSU's next national championship....

I believe you made a typo, January 2100 is LSU's next (and last) national championship :p

And pres, I would keep NW the same as it is, instead of reverting back to WoW. You made too many positive changes to completely erase them. Maybe ask everyone what their least favorite additions to the game are and delete the ones that have a common consensus.

its fitting that you'd be from Indiana.

May I remind you of a recent Sugar Bowl?
