Vbookie is completely out of control and is actually starting to mess up due to such large numbers. Seeing we have pretty much made a fresh start with the game, i'm thinking everything else should be the same. Some member did pay real money for the credits, so i would offer some other item to replace the credits. Like a premium account or something.

I myself have 3,112,359,533,615 in credits. I just pulled it all out of the bank just to stop gaining interest to slow the whole process down some. Right now we have almost 99% poverty ratings and a member needs over 19 billion credits to be considered not poor.. lol.. Remember when it use to be when someone had a million you were rich.. :)

What i'm thinking is, resetting the system, putting on bet restrictions for vbookie and lowering the interest rate for all user groups. I will also upgrade to the next credit package which should fix the loan issue. We would also adjust all the pricing in the arcade as well as the casino to reflect more modern amounts.. Honestly, the system was not created to handle so many members with such large amounts of money.. 3 trillion over all isn't bad, but members having so much isn't the way it should be.. It's time for a complete work over on our economy.

What i would like is some more opinions as to why you agree or disagree to resetting this system. We will then go from there.

thanks

Kill it

Make the credits available for contribution to NW, new ideas, bug report, or simply some achievement!

vBookie is just not serious

Just because we don't put up any of your stupid dutch sports doesn't mean its not serious. Its just kind of stalled while we wait for football season to start... :)

What I`m saying!

Who gives a **** about football in Europe?
Just make it vBookie for North America cuz we don`t give a **** about European, Asian, African or Australian sports!

What % of forum users are European/Asian/African/Australian? Unless you specifically request an event, we're not going to put it up as no one will bet on it.

I think people are still jaded about bets on the Grand Prix that never happened.

(this might just be me though)

is there some way to just reduce the economy? rather than wipe it out. scale it down...anyone with X gets Y, and set up teirs, and then just delete your trillion cause that seems like a big cause of the problems.

if you got rid of your trillions what would the avg have to be to not be poor?

remember credits were used to play games and such? Now some of the members cant even spend all their credits.

Maybe you should just get rid of your money seeing as your the one raising the average so much. Personally I worked hard to get my credits and would be upset if they were all taken.

I just taxed myself 3 trillion dollars.. I too worked hard for them.. thats why i figured it was most fair if we all started over.

I'll try this for now until i can spend some time figuring out what to do from here.

is part of the problem all of the inactive accounts that have no credits?

Members: 1,826

only about 6% of those members are active so there is 92% of your poor members right there.

I believe resetting it would just postpone the problem anyhow.. we were able to earn alot of money once, why couldnt we do it again?

And lets look at it this way, theres 1600 or so users, 99 percent are poor leaving 16 rich ones. out of those 1600 users i owuldnt even say 10 percent of those is active, in game, much less in forums

so we have 16 rich users out of like 100 users playing

i think that is a staggering number considering i doubt 16% of america is considered "rich". kind of takes the fun out of it

but idc what your permanent solution is so long as if it is to wipe the slate clean of all our credits i get something in return for these

lets see here.. u get 200,000 per dollar up until u spend 10$, then it becomes 2,000,000 per dollar until 50$ spent so...

16$, 15$, 1$, 20$, 10$ = 62$ spent on credits

now, i basically bought these credits as a way to donate $ to the game and get a little something in return so i wont mind too much if once u wipe them out i wont get ****, but, its something to think about

Cem the credits you purchased using real money is the ONLY reason it hasn't been reset yet.

I am working on a proposal to those who used real money and to those who have lots of credits they earned. When it's completed i will then show you all and take a vote on it.

When the credits system was first released i didn't think it would explode like it has and i also didn't think it would be as easy to gain more. Making the offer to members to buy billions at chirstmas time was not wise on my part.. lol

So new things would be put in place to keep the credits from getting out of control so quickly. Of course after time some members would have billions, but it the economy would grow along with them more then it has now...

The arcade prices would be reset along with the poker room. Vbookie would have a max amount to bet and not millions as well as certain odds that can only be used. Plus taxes on the winnings would be higher for everything. Interest rates would be lower so ppl like myself who had billions just don't get rich off of interest alone.. Things like that will help keep things from getting way out of control so soon. But all this takes time so it will be a while before anything happens.. We will continue like it is now till i can change it all.
