And we have Z and #10 there, trading gb like crazy and decide to aa and grab me.

#28 grabbing me minutes afterward. And Cem is over there purposely hitting minutes before gb runs out and spouting off about LoR hacking.

woh... i spoke before i logged on and saw that one of the states doing AA's was a USA state.. Just 2 days ago i sent a nation message saying that even though there are no rules as of yet, the USA will not condone war attacks being made outside of war..

Warring for top spot is fine and with war there is no rules. But with netting, there has to be a sense of fair play or there is no point to spending time to get a good state.

USA set a rule to it's members that we will not allow war attacks outside of war. The rule was broken and the members was booted. I also went to the UN and stated that any nation that accepts him will have sanctions placed against them by the USA.. And any other UN nation that agrees.

Short of killing him ourselves, we have done the max we can do.

it happened, but I was not an "accomplice".

As u saw I only did 1 SA on your state, why?...

Well at the time I still hadnt been talking to anyone, and I was unaware of the fact that there was no longer a No double tap in top ten stigma, or that this was a fresh start for ingame common rules.

and so I acctually stopped at 1 SA to follow this rule.


Personally, If I was AA'd (which I have been many times) I would be 1st concerned with dealing with the person who AA'd me. and after this if I suspected any collaborating partners I would deal with them if I was still upset.

Personally 1 SA would not bother me a whole lot, because as stated before, I would take advantage of such a situation myself, so I would understand.

However we are not all the same.

Then a few days later goes off and does it again.. Am i'm over reacting? New server or not, and order is still an order.. Do members not respect leaders orders anymore? Has this game changed so much? If so, then the leaders of the past year or so have done a crappy job.. If members don't listen to leaders then we are all in trouble..

All the past rules were dropped cause everyone lived in a hostile free environment cause of them. Nobody enforced nothing. If something happened they came on the forums, complained for a few posts then they all touched stomachs, hugged and smoked a peace pipe.. Where the hell is the fun in that? So now all rules are gone, new ones will be made as we move forward and it's up to the nations to enforce them. EVERY nation in the game has a right to make up there own rules and live by them...

In the past people followed unwritten rules cause thats the way it always had been. What we did was cleared the rule book and made it so NATIONS could create and enforce any rule they wanted. The admins of the game will no longer protect people from these unwritten rules, the nations have to do that. So if you make up a rule for your nation, then it's up to you to enforce it.

if the nations want certain rules like the no double tapping in the top ten, then they are the ones who have to enforce it. If nations want to make it so nobody can attack anyone in that nation, then THEY have to enforce it.

Even though the "unwritten" rule about war attacks being for war only was taken out, doesn't mean a nation such as USA can't say we won't allow it and we will enforce it...

a state broke our rule. he was warned and asked not to do it again. He said sorry and we moved on. And then a few days later does the same thing. As a nation, we decided this is how we will handle it. We have the right to do it this way. We are a Nation in Nation-Wars.

CommunistCapitalism: you have to prepare for war before being able to declare war. So preparing can be something of a threat, or just a sign war is coming.
Right now, it's the first, but the second might follow.

communistcapitolism, regarding your earlier post. the advantage to declaring war vs just attacking someone is that it only requires 3 turns per war attack instead of 5.

at least that's how i thought it worked. it used to be 2, but this set they changed it to 3.

making nations prepare for war was introduced a few sets back. It was made to help smaller nations get a little heads up before being wiped out.. This way, they have a little bit of time to get on and prepare for the attack they are about to receive.

It also is a little more realistic. Not many nations can go to war at the drop of a hat. There is always some prep work involved. Back in WOW we had this feature but then we stopped using it.. This new feature is a little more fancier :)

If one of the other nations can come to me with a decent deal then i will order US forces back from the front line.. If not, then they will be going in soon.. All the bloodshed, all the deaths and all the destruction will lie in the hand of NS and SLOB for there bad decision on this one.. It was a simple matter and they allowed it, well actually propelled it into a global crisis.. They should have minded there own business.
