Are there any special deals or incentives to renew or buy a new account right now??

- Most of all it contributes to the games ever rising costs. I personally make no profit from the game. Everything that is made is put right back into the game.
VB has completely changed the forums along with current contracts. There is a new VB-4 that they have come out with and they are forcing all users that after there current contract runs out, they MUST switch to the new vb4. If you don't you lose all support and updates. Yes we can continue to use the one we have now as it is mine, but we would never receive an update or help if something was to go wrong.
There is a good side to the new vb4 though. You pay one time and it covers you for life. No more having to come up with money each year to renew the contract. But there are 2 bad sides as well. The main one being the cost to upgrade :( and the second one is it's a completely different layout as what we have. That means it would totally wipe out every add feature we have on here (casino, credits, gameroom ect ect) and then i would have to reload it all back on.. IF it would even work with the new style.
PLUS, being a whole new setup, it may not even work with the game.. I could care less about all the extra features.. If it doesn't coincide with the game, then we will have some issues. And of course VB doesn't give you a temp copy of anything so i can see if it does work.. I would have to purchase it and then test it all out.. If it doesn't work then i just spent hundreds for nothing.
We would be fine not switching, but again we would have no support or upgrades.
So there you have it.. :)

I was thinking this was more important than the 1 billion credits.. But i guess that's just me.. No biggie.. Don't feel bad..

Maybe I was hinting towards a free kill or something like that.. That could be an added incentive for a yearly account.. " KILL BUTTON" GF2:":
The credit system is over populated, as I have done my part to downsize it by loosing billions in casino and Vbookie.. :D
I don't understand why there isn't a stickied thread in the Announcement section that explains the benefits of purchasing a Premium account (and get rid of the Credit stickied thread since credits don't really do much at this point).
I've been on this server for 2 years now and I still don't know fully what a premium account is. Information about it really hard to access requiring searching for old posts. Also, the link for it is called "Paid Subscription" which is not as enticing as "Premium account." And putting it under the "Misc" section is even worse, which doesn't stand out at all.
There are going to be new players coming from Earth soon. And I think promoting Premium account not only makes it easier for players to manage their states, but more importantly help fund the server. The premium account in this server is a great convenience tool and doesn't cause imbalance in game play. It should be really promoted for the benefit of the server. I would think now is a good time to really explain Premium account to everyone before the next set starts.

Don't think so, but us non-prems don't get to see it even exists.
Prem Account Club is still there.
Im a prem holder till 2010 but I don't see a prem club :'(
