World Cup Draw

USA have been drawn into England's group, first game of our world cup. Bring it on ;). Here's the draw in full, fair to say Italy and Spain have the easiest groups:


Group A: South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay, France

Group B: Argentina, Nigeria, South Korea, Greece

Group C: England, United States, Algeria, Slovenia

Group D: Germany, Australia, Serbia Ghana

Group E: Netherlands, Denmark, Japan, Cameroon

Group F: Italy, Paraguay, New Zealand, Slovakia

Group G: Brazil, North Korea, Ivory Coast, Portugal

Group H: Spain, Switzerland, Honduras, Chile

It was seeded, France barely qualified so weren't one of the seeded teams :thumbup:

I wasn't overjoyed when USA came out but the rest of the group I'm happy with lol

France only made it in because of a handball, so they shouldn't be seeded.

the world rankins went from the october standings before the last qualifiying games and last friendlies. so it was on results from before then.

because since the last world cup france have done nothing. i mean they shouldnt have even got threw. it took thiery henry's cheat to get them threw otherwise it would have been ireland going threw lol.

I'm rather pleased with the Drawings for Group C and D. USA will get second place in their group and will advance to lose to Germany in the elimination round, since Germany is going to win Group D. England will get knocked out two rounds later; I think they have a good chance of beating Greece. ;)
