Funny thing is, apart from Cemetary, who finished the set where he started it, out of those 9 DaK players (well...8): 4 went so inactive that they were kicked out and the rest are languishing in mid 50s positions.

What does this say? Does the "thrill" of the game wear of really soon really quick for new players/ players returning to the game? Should something be done about this? Can something be done? Is there really a correlation or just a coincidence?

Um, it means that you can't always finish where you start...

But why did nearly of them quit afterwards?
meh, as i said "coincidence" is one of the options.

Why do people go inactive? Maybe because RL is more important than some internet game? Ever thought of that?

School. Job. Family.
Or they simply forget about NW for a bit?

Not everyone is going to spend time online everyday just because they are playing in DAK...

maybe because they joined only to shut you up to constantly stop spamming the crud out of there MSN and ingame messages??

funnily enough no because they were TNR and UB states brought in by Gildor and Artos. I didn't speak to any of them at all.

Sorry Dak, but this had nothing to do with your members, you guys just got really lucky. The top 10 got warred out and you were the only ones who didn't war, so i ope you didnt expect anything else, maybe next set we will see the truth, because i gurantee you won't get this kind of result unless a war breaks out.

Cemetary

usa didnt war either...

and we have new and better netting membs coming in next set so we still hope to have at least 3-4 in top 10

For my spot, I was away from the computer for 3 days, near the end of the set. And food was gone. End result, my turn usage got screwed up. Oh and I barely did any landgrabs.
