A Terrible Disaster

My Poor kitten is not having a good day.

Her name is Lilith, she is the youngest of my 4 cats and she is also the most curious.

So of course when I was in the process of putting up:

She was right there snooping around.

Most of you have probably seen these fly traps, and U know when they are open the spiral OUT AND ARE LIKE SUPER STICKY GLUE/SAP covered paper strips.


Well I had it pulled out, and was about to hang it when he cat decided to attack it...

It stuck to her then she took off, and it came out of my hands...

She got all tangeled in it, and I had to rip it off her a few inches at a time.

The worst part is that she is now covered in this terrible Glue/Sap.

She is walking around the house like a gimp, clearly not comfortable...

Its not toxic thankfully...

I have given her 2 baths and scrubbed alot, stil alot of the glue remains...

Im not sure what to do...

I am going to have to sleep on it, and hope things improve in the morning...

Poor Lilith...

Maybe she will not be so curious next time...

believe it or not, that glue is oil soluable and should be cut with vegetable oil. you will then get to have the pleasure of bathing the cat to get the vegatable oil off. WOn't htat be exciting.

I woke up oday and even tho I had given her 2 baths last night after the incident, she still was gluey and she had kitty litter stuck to her legs and tail...

So I tried useing some Oil, and it seemed to work... I then bathed her again, useing dish soap this time to get the oil out, and she is almost back to normal again,

that was probably the worst day of her life thus far.
