i went with number 1 cuz he averages 1 td per game and for his yards ran his td's are higher so me thinks he would score more points in the long run then the other two

A running back is a position in american football. He is the guy who normally lines up behind or next to the quarterback. He generally is either handed the ball to run with or thrown a short pass to run with. Either that or he blocks to protect the quarterback from being sacked.

I went with HB number 1.

It appears by his stats that he is used in short yardage situations to punch in the TDS. high TDs fewer games, slightly lower yards per carry.

On the surface, Running back #1 looks to be the more solid back, however he is also getting 4 more carries per game. #2 seems to have a better stamina as his Number of games played is higher. So, My question, and it weighs heavily in the decision, is why has the #1 back only played 56 games when the other two have almost twice as many? Has he been injured or is he maybe an underclassman? With the stats shown, as is, I would have to say #1, hoever I would like to see a few more stats before I say definitively which is the better back.

Fair enough question. Running back number one has been in the league one less year. However that would only account for at max 16 games less. He has alot more than 16 less because he has suffered some injuries.

Well, I wish I had known that before I voted. :P But, I will still stay with, on the surface, he is the better back, however, it makes one wonder his ability to last for the remainder of the season or his career as he may be prone to injury. There were really not enough stats available to make a really accurate assessment of each back.

With the information given I'd have to say RB 1. He's putting the ball in the endzone. with the information that he's been injured a lot i'd probably take RB 2. But in the end i'd have to know more before he played on my team.
