History of the USA
After playing in a few other nations, i noticed that nobody other than
the leader had a say in how anything was ran. I invisioned a nation
of democracy, and nation where even the newest members had a say
in how some of the nations issues were handled. I wanted polls where
people could voice there opinions. I wanted debates where people
could argue there points good or bad. Mostly i wanted a nation like
no other in the game of WOW. A nation where members never wanted
to join another nation cause out of all them, this was the only they could
ever say really felt like a family.
March of 2003
A guy named Mr President started a nation called America .
He enlisted some help from his long time friend named Cyber
Spider to help him get this nation off the ground. For the first few
sets we were a small nation that nobody even noticed. Our first
couple of sets we only had 4 members, but word about this new nation
of democracy spread quickly and with the hard work and countless
hours of recruiting the USA gained members quickly. Our nation has
always been one that teaches new players how to play. We treat them
fairly and respectfully. We give them a voice, and encourage them to
use it. This has always worked well for this nation, and has been the
foundation of it.
The USA has never been a aggressive nation. We have always been
peaceful and not out to prove anything, but as history shows when push
comes to shove we know how to handle ourselves.

In Aug of 2003 our member size was large, but we still lacked the
experience of war time. I knew that with a nation our size it was only
a matter of time till we would be put to the test and when that happened
i wanted to be ready, so i needed to come up with a plan. My plan was
to go to war with a nation that would not bring any real attention to us
but yet give us a chance to see how well our military worked. It just so
happened that at that time a noob nation called Iraq was doing double
and triple attacks on anyone they felt like (at that time doubles we illegal)
and no other nation was doing anything about it, so i went to congress and
aksed them to grant me permission to go to war with Iraq. I urged them
that it was extremely important to take them out. In some small way i
was basically false leading them cause we were in no imediate threat
by them, but i knew we needed to prepare and learn how to war before
we were attacked by a super power. Congress granted me permission
and i ordered the US military to attack. For the first time ever, our nation
was at war. I figured it would be a long war due to us being young and
not experienced in war and that we could use this war to learn from. Well
in 2 short days the nation Iraq was defeated. As it turned out the US military
was actually pretty darn good. 48hrs after the attacks began, the USA
declared it's first victory. Granted we were still an unnoticed nation, but
that war gave us the confidence we needed and as it turned out the plan
i came up with actually saved our asses in the long run. cause little did we
know major trouble was just a set away....
Oct 2003- Our first major war
Super powers don't look at a new nation as a threat at all. They basically
threaten death to all who gets in there way. They do as they wish, and if
you argue the point they kill you. But what this one paticular super power
did not know is that the USA was not the normal noob nation. We were here
to play, and stay!
In Oct 2003 a member in a nation called TSO did illegal attacks on one of
our members. I tried to handle it diplomatically but there leaders refused.
Instead, that same member did more illegal attacks on more of our members.
Again i tried diplomacy. I asked them to disband that member so we could
give him his proper punishment, they refused. At that time TSO was a huge
nation that housed many veteran players so at first we really didn't think
we would be able to do anything about it, cause well we felt that we would
not be able to beat vets. We went back and forth for a few days when the
leaders of TSO sent me a message asking if this was really worth getting
all our members killed for. They were trying to intimidate us and up till that
message it was working. After that message i had enough, my reply was
simple, diband him by the next day or i will order the US military to attack.
We had already had all our turns saved and all our jets fueled cause i figured
they would attack us and i wanted to be prepared. The next day they still
had not disband the member and we attacked. This was the largest war the
USA had ever been in. We were losing members left and right, but so were
they. The war was about 2 weeks old and many of our members were tired
and battered, but the USA was not dead, infact we gained the edge on them
and by the end of the second week we declared victory! Many members on
both sides lost there lives due to this noobs mistake, but it was at that
moment when the USA was considered a major player in the war dept.
Other nations noticed that at no matter what the cost, the USA will do what
needs to be done to protect our nation as well as our members.
Now that USA was a major player, many other nations wanted to become
our ally. Being a young nation we didn't understand that having to many
allies did more harm than good. With a allied comitment we were being
pulled into every war that was going on. Our nation was losing site of
what it was really about. For many sets we were in and out of wars,
but in Nov 2003 we entered a war that would change USA forever.
Nov-2003
The USA has always tried to ally with new young nations to help them
get started without the pressure of being bullied around. One of our
allies sent me a message that a nation called WLF was threatening them
to merge with them or they will all be killed. After sending a message to
the leader of WLF, i was pretty much blown off, so we needed to take
action to protect our allied friends. We attacked WLF on what we believed
was concrete evidence about the merger threats and won the war in
a small amount of time. After winning so many wars i became kinda like
the other leaders in that noob nations were really not a threat, and i forgot
that at one time the USA was a noob nation and we proved that theory
wrong. And WLF reminded me of that the following set....
Dec 2003
After the victory of WLF i felt that they were no real threat to the USA. I
mean after all we just kicked there butts so why would they even try
again, so i kinda forgot all about them. About 2 weeks into the Dec set
one of our allies was knee deep in war and they were losing and asked
for our help. Congress approved and we attacked. What we didn't know
is that we were being set up, and as soon as we enetered the war and
used all our turns we were ambushed by WLF and 3 other large nations.
It was 96 of them vs 24 of us, and due to diplomatic reasons we could
not ask for any assistance from other allies. There was no way to win
and after about a week the USA had suffered it's first loss in war.
Jan 2004
After suffering the loss of the war, the USA was for the first time ever,
lost. Many nations pulled there alliance agreement cause they
felt we were no longer a power house. I tried very hard to explain that
there was no way we could win a war when there was 96 of them and
24 of us but they wouldn't listen. This was a major turning point for the
USA. This was when i really understood how things worked in this game.
It was then when i decided we needed to strip this nation down to the core
and build it back up. We recruited new members, used the knowledge we
gained to train them to be the best they could be. We incorperated the
supporting of 2 strats. We dropped all allies and went with the idea of if
we can't handle it alone, then we don't belong there. We set up new jobs
in the govt and promoted loyal members to those jobs. We created the Sec
of Defense job, where all he did was asses threats to the USA and most of
all we changed the whole attitude of the USA. We were no longer going to
be the war machine for anyones displosal. We will take care of ourselves
and help those in the fight for freedom of the axis of evil.
After a set we were back in the top ten again, with a bigger
stronger army protecting us. We strive on the fact that we
have some of the most loyal and hard working states in the
game. We have a great deal of fun and we have become a
family. The USA was back to running strong.
Our main goal in the rebuilding process was to get this nation ready to
attack WLF and still be prepared to handle any of there allies who jumped
us. All we wanted was revenge, and we would not settle for less. We sat
and waited for the perfect time and in Feb, that time came.......
Feb 2004
The time we had been waiting for was here. WLF was in a major war and
many smaller nations were attacking them. This was our perfect time, we
could go in finish off the rest of WLF and then head for there allies for some
payback time. But the night before the planned attack i had a change of
mind. I knew that we would win the war, but i also knew they would be
back the next set for more and that this could go on for many sets. I also
knew that WLF was a very strong force and would make a better ally than
an enemy. So i pitched my new plan to congress. At first they said no, but
after many messages i was able convince them that this was the best route
the USA could take. So to strengthen our ties and improve diplomatic
relations with WLF i asked congress to go to war to help out WLF. We
did and we easily achieved victory. Less than a week later another nation
[KOD] began hitting WLF so once again i asked congress to go to war on
this nation. 1 day later and 9 members dead the leader of KOD asked for
peace. The USA suffered no losses in either battle and we gained a life
long ally and friend. This was the first war since the USA lost, and it
was clear that we were stronger and a much better warring nation.
After some time we dropped the no allies rule. We felt that we were more
prepared to make better choices on who we had as allies. We became allies
with WLF, FW, E, DAK and a few other smaller nations. But those 4 were our
main ones and with our 5 nations allied together we really were an unstoppable
force. And this force would be needed in the months ahead.....
May 2004
With the allied force we presented our nations had little to worry about. This
gave us a chance to train more members and work on other issues we needed
to work on. But there was a major threat that was headed right for us. The nation
NVN was becoming a very well organized war machine, and with the help of
LoR they were becoming a major threat to many nations in the game. In may
of 2004 NVN was attacking WLF. WLF asked for our help so my first thing was
to send the leader of NVN a message and try to end the war. WLF agreed to
peace if NVN would and i was able to get WLF to declare peace to show good
intent. NVN went along with them game and stopped there attacks and all was
settled, but then 3 days later NVN deliverd a devistating blow to USA. During
the night while we were all sleeping they were killing us one by one and they
dropped us to our knees. There sneak attack from behind worked just the
way they wanted it too. DAK, FW, came to our aid and kept them busy while
USA and WLF rebuilt. Once we rebuilt our nation joined in and finished off
the nation NVN. Little did we know that this was actually the first set in what
would become America's Vietnam war.....
June 2005
Rumors were flying about how USA and allied forces planned to attack NVN
again for payback so i posted a treaty in the forums saying that as long as
NVN signs it, then there will be no attacks made by either nation. They did
sign it and 2 weeks later snuck back up in the night and struck us from
behind again. This time we were more prepared and NVN could not deliver
such a devistating blow, but it was clear that the Vietnam war was going
to continue for many sets to come. The USA and her allied forces attacked
back and were once again declared victory.
July 2005
NVN's intent was very clear, they were never going to stop attacking the
USA or her allies. All of this was over the fact that instead of attacking them
when they were hitting WLF back in may we gave them the chance to move
on and save face. This time i knew we needed to strike first. The viets proved
they could not be trusted with treaties and words so i gathered all of our
allied nation leaders together and created the largest allied force this game
has ever seen to strike NVN and all there allies. Our strikes were precise and
all of us worked together perfectly and in a few short days all of NVN and
there allies were dead, and we left behind only a brief message, stop now
or this will be your fate for the rest of your wow career....
The vietnam war lasted 6 sets and in those 6 sets it really took a toll on
our nation. Many members wanted to see us get out of this war that we
kept going into set after set, but i knew we must not stop attacking till they
have either all quit the game or show absolutly no sign of attacking us. This
stratedgy paid off, after some time the viets faded off and has not been seen
since. This was a huge wake up call to all the axis of evil. They now knew that
America and her allied forces will hunt you down. Our messege was simple,
"you can run, but you cannot hide" one by one the axis of evil disapeered
and our nations brought a new calmer meaning to the game. Yes there are
still wars, but there is no longer a large force of evil nations.
2005
Since the Vietnam war America has been coasting along pretty smoothly.
There has not been any major wars that we have not been able to handle
easily. In Aug of 2005 the United States of America elected it's second
President. And in October we elected our 3rd.
Our nation is simple. We strive on the foundation of our nation which is our
constitution. This allows us to vote in our leaders and vote on issues of the
nation we call home. We don't look for wars, but we don't run from them
either. Our nations title messege says "this big dog will fight when you rattle
his cage, and you'll be sorry you messes with the US of A.... cause we'll
put a boot in your *** it's the American way!!!" and basically that is who we
are. We are a honest fair playing nation who will always defend the weaker
nations from the evil nations. Each set we change with the times. I remember
when i first started this nation many of the others said we would not be around
very long....... well the funny thing is, we are still here and most of them are
the ones who are gone.. Ladies and Gentlmen, we are the United States of
America!

and protection. Somehow we became the police of WoW, making right

Our nation was filled with loyalty and honor. Allies and foes knew that
we kept our word even when the stakes were against us. Our diplomatic
skills were also a vital part of the success of the nation and our military
was second to none. One of the most impressive parts of the USA was
the intelligence dept. Each day we gathered so much intel it wasn't funny.
We knew strike times of other nations, who was on, anything we needed.
It was quite impressive..
I was proud to be a part of that nation, and even more proud of the members we had in it.
Our birth was March 2003 and the end was March 2007.. But one thing
is for sure, the USA will live on!!!
