It has nothing to do with going against the grain and everything to do with using a free, open source, operating system that is faster, cleaner, less resource intensive, cooler (temperature-wise on my laptop) than Windows.

firefox was way faster for overheating laptops.
in my experience FF is not for heavy users.

i DL it last night...its pretty cool. very simple. Just another browser in appearance.

The first page that loads is pretty cool. Its your real favs., not your book marked ones. meaning its a thumbnail of the sites you really look at the most.

FF 3 also shows your most visited sites. Bookmarks ---> Bookmarks Toolbar ---> Most Visited

I'm going to wait to try it after they flesh out the security issues and after it stops sending all my data and surfing habits back to Google! The incognito function gets around this but Firefox does most of what this browser does without reporting what i do to Google.
