What will the US be in 4 years time? I've got the horrible feeling it will become a black nation (politically), with white americans (and anyone who doesn't agree with jesse jackson) being persecuted. It will be Zimbabwe with nuclear weapons:(

I really don't think it will get to that. I also dont like to think of nations as color oriented. Granted, African nations have for so long be rife with corruption and barbaric leadership, I don't think that could ever happen in the USA as we have the 2nd amendment.

Probably not, but the threat alone might force the population to bend to the will of the despots, besides, there are tactical nukes right? which could be dropped on concentrations of militia.

BAck to you, Will, Z deserves no response. Yes the National Guard can stand up to the regular military as there are more in the national guard than there is in the regular army. Plus you are assuming that the Military leadership would be on board with a despot ruler. I don't htink that they would support an attack on US citizenry.
Who's to say the military leadership wouldn't be replaced? Also, Obama would have to be very stupid to make it a racial thing right away. It would be more likely he'd portray dissenters as racists, KKK members etc, and portray it as a war on "far right terrorist groups", IE Ruby Ridge on a national scale.

Well you are correct, some of the military leadership could be replaced, but that still leaves the rank and file military member that would have to follow the orders to act against their own homes and towns. I don't think anyone could make that happen.

Isn't the reason a lot of people join the military to save their homes and towns from (in this case) bad Iraqi/Afghanian terrorists??
The reason (for the majority) of soldiers to join the army is to protect, not to destroy. You just have to destroy to protect.

u are all idiots. if america goes to **** it will be because of our failures as a collective group, not because of one man (although we failed collectively when we elected one man [bush {twice}]). the bigger problem is our collective greed and inability to live within our means. this is something obama has talked about and i hope he will address as president.
