Coming soon!!!!

Nation-Wars banking system will have income taxes. I am almost done with this. I have 2 choices, the easy way would be a flat tax where everyone pays the same. Or the hard way where it will work off how much money you have. So the rich would pay more while the poor pay less. When this is complete i will give you full details on how it will work and when this program will be ran.

All members will have the money pulled from there checking accounts and this money will be deposited into the central bank (which is in neg #'s btw)

Also, i always believed vbookie winning were taxed... I was wrong. That money is won free and clear. This will soon change. I will be working on that code and adding in a new tax that will deduct some money from it. It will be a % of the winnings, like it is in the arcade.

Arcade prices will be going up. Back when most ppl only had thousands of dollars, the low prices was good. But now that everyone has MILIIONS, the prices need to drastically go up.

Also, shortly we will have a commerce program where members will be able to create stores and sell things out of them. Members will use credits to purchase these goods. I have a lot more work on this before it is out, but i am just giving you a heads up on what will be happening soon.. Oh and of course, taxes will be collected from the profit of goods :)

For the 1st time ever our currency system is running in the red. No the game or forums won't crash as basically the credit system is a fictional program. lol.. The last stimulus package cost us about 13B and put us in the red by about 11 Billion... I also plan on adding the deficit numbers with the rest of the currancy overview information.

ok.. thats all! :)

I've lost about 160 million in the past week or so.. am I entitled to a tax credit or maybe even a bailout? get out:"

I wonder if Mr P would collect the taxes himself... That would certainly fill the gap between him (in credits) and Bill "iCare" Gates (in money)

I think Mr. P himself could bail out the Bank since he was the one in charge of finances and bail outs.

*wonders how this tax thing ranks on the importance list of updates*

Resurrection will not be getting any further updates. I can't spend all my free time on just the game. I have to work on all the other stuff at times as well.

And the tax idea has been on paper SINCE the credit system was installed. :P

I think Mr P will be the biggest victim of those "taxes"
So why would he come op with the idea for it?

Who are you and what have you done to Mr P, the one who writes books instead of posts, who doesn't use "r" and "u" like "how r u?", who cares about his big pile of credits etc.

Actually i'm not sure i want to do the Income tax credit. Main reason being, most of the people buy the credits using real money so it would not be fair for me to take them away by means of income taxing..

In all fairness, taxes on winnings is more suitable.

I forgot all about people buying credits. It hit me today as i was driving home from work :)

Taxing the interest could be done though?

Mr President

The tax on vbookie winnings is in place.

All winnings are taxed .05

So if you win a bet where you placed 100.00 on it with 1-1 odds your take home would be 195.00 and the bank would get 5.00

Sadly this was not in place when the cowboys were still in the running. Seeing i lost over 4billion on bets with them, i'm sure our deficit would be paid off completely.. lol

like base stocks off of certain things ingame...like like nation avgs, or avg selling price of jets inf/ etc.

Crimson Shadow
01-11-2009, 21:29
how did this stockmarket work?

It was just another thing to do with credits. You bought stocks with forum credits and stock prices would go up and down based on the actual stock market.

There was a bug with it or something so pres had to get rid of it.

Maybe I should read the whole thread, as I have been gone for a few days, but is there a way a user can see the taxes that are paid?
