that is so true...except no one has been expelled for a fist fight in my hs xD.
It is like that everywhere though...
Here is one i experienced myself...

Johnny is playing baseball and gets hit in the leg by a hard grounder and falls to the ground in pain.
1957- Coaches run over and help him up, sits down and walks around for a few minutes and gets up and takes his position again.
2008- Parents, doctors, coaches, players, Mom, dad, grandma, sister and lawyer comes running onto the field. Carries the kid off the field, threatens league head for not providing proper equipment to play sport.
Kid comes back next game bundled up as if he was a hockey goalie.

Sad points of life in my opinion, I think we should live with the values from 1957.

guys, just sit down and think for a minute and realize how old Mr P must be to remember all these childhood stories from 1957. and how creepy it is that he still hangs out with so many kids 51 years later on. plus he hangs out with mexicans called pedro.

Most of that is on the rather extreme end. And I don't know where you live, but bringing a shotgun to school is pretty much unheard of here (I don't think anyone here actually owns one either).

Who would bring a shotgun to school with those consequences?

I know it's made extreme to make the point, but it's all valid points

I didn`t get expelled for fist fights, so our education system blows USA! PT:::

Scenario 4 actually is familiar. It happened around. One father spanked bis kid for being naughty. The grand parents found out and sued him for abuse. The father got 2 years suspended sentence. Later he took the kid to the grand parents and told them to take care of him.

They dropped the charges in less then a week
