it is rough to upgrade late in the set but that seems like what will happen from now on. inf hoarding for the 1st week to get on top and then getting your ships/agms

hey i was inf hording like crazy, kind of expected as much, just not from BEN!

revenge suicide from 2 months ago in ABT&CTU vs LOR wars. simple as that. he's got 6.5mil lvl 8 ships and i had just sent the few i had to the market to upgrade.

I have heard he has suicided in the past but haven't seen it really.

There really is nothing you could have defended against it with that many ships that he had.

tbh its not only that but its imo best to upgrade on high(er) land. which is why im always puzzled to see players start cashing straight OOP just so they could upgrade their 4k land states to lvl8 inf then their 7k state to lvl8 ships or something lol.

It has been like that for a very long time. Though it seems that lately the number of inf has increased a bit, perhaps because of the changes or tight competition.

i think you are right about the competition
and just how it is played
now people usually don't worry about getting that top spot right away. you don't have to be #1 OOP. infact that usually kills you.
the way ploppy played his state is similar to how it was played in the past (just better back then:P)

the 1st one to get upgrades usually won

My point wouldve been however to hit them with a balanced state, just to let them suffer for infantry hording. Now though it changes, will be hitting off course

in this case i think they are all just put on their nice guy hats and let it go :)

and the upgrading is usually done right when you get that separation. believe me no top states want to run 0 defense. it mostly varies on how good the race is up top.

as for me I am just hard up for attention and will take 0 action ingame as I wait to see how this is being handled. I have every faith that both USA and ABT can handle this between themselves.

you have to admit though the last two sets have been pretty quiet so everyone jumps at the chance to talk on the boards and that i do encourage:)
