Back in th elate nineties when I got my first internet ready computer, I was flying a lot of combat flight simulators online. I picked Dogma as my callsign as I am the absolute truth, without proof, Which is what a dogma really is anyway.

One faction in the series is called the Principality (or Duchy) of Zeon. Later, a game came out called Zeonic Front. And so, I picked my name from that and my state from the name of the game.

However, my old game name is Axis. It comes from MSG as well, though in a later series. Some remnant members of the Principality after it fell apart became known as Axis Zeon, or just Axis, and they resided on an asteroid named Axis (surprise).

I wanted a name that would be controversial yet not just plain offensive. My playing style (back in the old days) mimicked him pretty well id say. I made deals with people that were kinda shady. Was considered the "dark side" of the game and got pleasure out of others players misery.

mine is much more simple i got it as a nickname from a friend not sure exactly why . and then when i started my earth carrier 10-11 years ago my first countryname was totteland and from there on it went :)

Heard wow (old NW) from a forum,

Registered the game with my very former nickname (there used to be different game and forum accound names),

Mailed many nations to accept me in,

USSR replied (their very first set with Novii),

it was asking for a state name so next set I wrote Soviet Red State (I was in USSR..),

it was asking for a leader name (wtf??) so I wrote SRS for Soviet Red State..

very lame since I dont use those nicknames anywhere else except for NW:thumbdown:
