Thank you very much!

I was actually hoping to get direct links to vids.

Love this video, I wish more musicians would take a step like this and even though it is a tribute to a by gone era, it has a great vibe, and isn't a standard performance video.

I will be looking into a little more of The baseballs. some intriguing things there.

Jack is Rock and Roll. He can do no wrong. Even when I (rarely) don't like one of his songs, he is still never wrong.

Here is a remake of ET by Katy Perry done by a close friend of mine and co-producer on a few projects in the past. He is a multi-instrumentalist and did everything on this - yes, the picture is not of Dave, it was something the guy that posted slapped on it as "appropriate" to the genre. It gives me chuckles.

I recently like the old rock the most - bee gees, alice cooper, dire straits, etc
But I also like the metal these days - eluveitie, arch enemy, ensiferum, etc

I dunno how to add youtube link to here, so I'm just going to say that my absolute favorite at the moment is (and has been for a couple of years): Eluveitie - Inis Mona

Oh, is that some new album? For some reason I can't see the videos you post (something about the uploader not making the video available in my country). I last saw eluveitie live about 1,5 years ago in a concert. Guess they released something new then!!

Rass, on the Counting Crows.

I had a bad bad introduction to them when I was in college. My neighbor used to play Mr Jones 150 times in a row at max volume for his stereo as he tried to learn to play and sing it. And I used to go into a rage if I heard Sha la la la.

BUT once I got that terrible terrible memory out of my head I was able to go back and just adore what was going on. Fantastic phrasing and freedom and cool vibe form the singer - who LUCKILY hooked up with talented enough musicians when he first started that they didn't try to "correct" him of his jazz.

Keep the smile on in this section :)

We can hate on each other in other threads, but music should be music.

Here's another one. Tyler the creator is interesting. but i have to admit I have trouble with his privileged upbringing I see from his videos. I could be wrong, i do fear it is too much success too soon though.

Oasis... I have finally come to separate the very well written songs with the brothers. Heard them covered enough times from others that I must tip my hat to some really well written stuff.

Candlebox! New album out, or coming out shortly.....

I really really dig a lot of the production on Collective Soul. Real wise use of the tools he was working with. Real good Studio musicians.

Ellie's song is basically indie pop, but i like almost every kind of genre. Although I haven't listened to hip hop/rap for about 10 years now, this estonian crew recently published a pretty cool song, which I liked. And since you said you're into hip hop/rap atm, then maybe you'll like it too.
