663, 789 and 655 today remained online consistently from GT02 till around GT11-12 when I woke up. This is WITHOUT LOGGING OUT ONCE. Since then one or two of them have logged in. We have just killed 663 whilst he was "ONLINE". I remember this being against the rules. If not, well then thats a different matter!!!

Thats funny Devildog and I were just discussing that one the phone. Even when I am awake I still miss a log in or a click to refresh a few times.

if it's true their states should be banned + results of the past should be deleted

Terms of Service
8. - You will not use any automated programs or scripts to advance your state, acquire goods, or otherwise anything that benefits your state in an automated fashion.

To my knowledge, this still stands and applies to auto refreshers.

Maybe I spend a lot of time on here. Who knows? I'm not saying I did anything wrong... but even if I was guilty of what you claim... how would using a "refresher" fall into either one of these criteria?

to advance your state

anything that benefits your state

People are less likely to attack those online for SA. In a war they are even less likely to due to the possibility of stonewalling....

That being said it is a social engineering issue, and not really exploiting the game as such. Brick on F5 works well.

From the TOS:

8. - You will not use any automated programs or scripts to advance your state, acquire goods, or otherwise anything that benefits your state in an automated fashion.

As it benefits your state to appear to be online, then yes, it is a violation of the TOS plain and simple.

Also, as it appears some people think that the rules are for how THEY interpret it, there is also this one:

20. - Do not try to cleverly circumvent some rule listed here. These rules are general guidelines and are very flexible.
