Well, here is to hoping that everyone restarts. I knew we should have struck first, seeing as we were at a numbers disadvantage and I was watching you guys stock turns and bombers, but it just didn't seem to work out.

I don't have a way to get everybody on the same page and screwed not giving privs to any one.
if i play next set not sure if i will due to work but if i do i might join up and give you a hand

I didn't think we would do so well. I thought for sure UK was going to get a good Fs.
it did go unexpectadly well yes i was expecting to die quickly as is my tradition...
I was there by my lonesome the past couple of days or so, not a whole lot you can do with just 1 state.
mabye UK should declare peace?

@MAGGIO it seems that we don't have that luxury anymore XD
Seems like Comcast is junk whether you're on the West Coast, or the East Coast. :glare:
Bright held out for a very long time on his own, it was impressive. What it came down to in the end though was that ELE had 7 active members and we only had 4.
I find it kind of absurd that once a state has been broken with AA basically any other state can kill them. A person with 3 million lvl 8 sams can be killed by someone with 150k lvl one bombers for instance, which as I said I find very absurd.
Not just one state but many States haveto work together to get the kill. All the oother state had yo do is get online and get his readiness back to 100%.

cant blame it on the member activity, jag is inactive and danson didnt make a single war attack. i was a restart and maggio only made 60 attacks. so was all down to pash, hedge and dune really. also when we declared your whole nation was online, thats why we took so long to make the 1st attacks.
I was killed the other day about 30 minutes before getting home from work (damn you Taste of Dallas!), haha. All I could really do at that point is attempt whack a mole with states that had turns and were getting too close for comfort- even then I had to attack blind since I didn't have the spies for intel. As far as the ships thing, it's a necessary mechanic, otherwise the truly massive states could only be overpowered by brute numbers ramming into them repeatedly until they broke (and it takes a hell of a lot of states for that to happen). Now I'm doing something I haven't done in over a decade in this game- a mixed strat for the hell of it to see how bad it truly is.
stonewalling is way to easy in this game if you know how to and your online i think the record was like 1500 attacks to kill one state back in the days :)

My biggest issue was trying to organize everyone. I don't have Skype/Messengers to talk to each other. I live in Oregon everyone else lives in different time zones. 99% of the loss was my fault. I completely forgot to give out privs and only remembered that I forgot about it during my killing Missionary's first state.

New Ingame chat feature will help I hope.

you should be able to make your own PW proteced chatbox on the ingame chat box. Just give it your nations name and assign a pw only your nations knows
once you login to the game, you will have your own nation-chat available
please note this has not been tested very good, give feedback with anything you might notice!
also you should be able to switch back to your dead state, and leave the nation. upon leaving the nation you can assisgn another member the leadership and all privs. that person can then hand out what needs to be handed out. this privs thing should not have been a problem. the game is not rigged to leave a nation hanging. sorry i didnt reply that before, but thats my two cents about it.

surely a leader without the means of communicating to his nation members is like a shepherd leading lambs to the slaughter? if circumstances dont permit constant communications access then there should be measures in place inside any well run nation then ensure the continuity of government and authority.
p.s. nice to see Dune and Hedge leading the charge. Well done fellas. Miss my time taking down folks with you.
i wouldnt say i lead anything i just pushed missionary around abit to get him doing things ;)

lol, it sucks being in a war and having a dead state from the out set. would have gone alot quicker/smoother if i had my original state goin. but yeah we did well with what we had :-)
im guessing/assuming that ELE re-declared so that outside terrorist states couldnt just join up with the UK and make illegal attacks.
