MAFIA back in action for Jan 2014

Sorry for the lull in activity. Had some personal issues since
October.

I moved and had to do a lot of work and re did my new house
from top to bottom etc...

My dad was diagnosed with Stage 3 Lung Cancer on 7/7/2013
which is also my bday. It was caught a little early due to him
developing pneumonia. His treatment has started with Chemo
and Radiation.

THEN XMAS, not sure if you knew but I have three little ones, and I
had to GRIND OUT some side work to pay for those letters to
santa.

but im back to active and back to working on the game. I will
really keeping an eye on new players and trying to recruit them
and give them a good head start. i was doing pretty good last
Jun-Sept with training and building my nation MAFIA until RL side
tracked me.

Calvin was my right hand during that and he is inactive for now. I
need someone to run the mechanics of the nation while i recruit

nah i?m down to one game for now i play earth :) well i have never been particullary good ;)

Ya i played earth for about 1 and 1/4 sets. the 1st set was ok but overall seemed very dull. not much incentive to attack people for land, because there are so many treaties and pacts that you aren't really allowed to hit anyone worth while, all you do is expand and expand and expand and expand...and expand...and expand. the only people that gain land are the people who get in land grabbing pacts with other players which seems like cheating but for some reason is not considered cheating. the 2nd set we immediately got into a war, and after about 2 weeks of the war i got about as bored as possible. the sets are too long and the game play is too time consuming and boring. this game is way more fun but no one plays because there is not much interaction going on, everyone is very quiet.
