We should agree Upon a fair and Equal SA Policy for all nations.

All nation leaders who wish to take part in the agreement please make a post here stating your agreement. This shall be known as the Helsinki Accord.

We should agree on a policy beginning in 2016, taking in to account that our states have grown fewer than in previous years.

Let us discuss.

Because if all 3 have been done at the same time it's likely that no1 will grab you untill they all drop off at once. Leaving you with 0gb and ready to get screwed.

I?m kinda new here with few sets played but are you talking about doing three grabs in a row or three grabs in 36 hours?
I have done some attacks on same state already so i thought i ask. Not in a row but inside 36 hours.
There have been quite a lot three grabs in 36 hours, even some with 3 grabs in a row. For example:

Kinda hard to understand which one is the illegal one? Is this in a row grabbing better because you dont lose land for 36 hours or is the 36 hour window grabbing better because then you get more time than 36 hours? But then you maybe lose more land if you expand, or not?. Or are they both illegal? Do i get a ban for doing so? Maybe there could be somekinda warning if you already have grabbed someone then? Or is it just between players to find a solution? if so, what could be a solution for the grabs i copied here for example? Other state sells his stuff and gets 3-4 grabs back? Or some cheaper food/army from the attacker? Or is it just gonna be war between those nations now?


Kinda confusing, but maybe someone could paint it red and explain simply :)

I'm liking the idea of single tap in the top 10 and outside going to triple tap maybe but no more than a double tap consecutively. SO you can attack 2 times but you have to wait for the third.

Who are the "you guys"? Not all estonians are the same group.
That said, lets continue with the discussion (this is a discussion thread after all) more politely, shall we.

I have some thoughts about the matter why being grabbed x amount of times should not bother you, please review and correct me if you see things differently.

Argument 1 - If I grab you 4 times in a row, then I will grab you again in 36h and take a huge piece of land.
Why I don't agree with this - this hardly ever happens. Yes, it will happen, but like maximum couple of times per set per state. This will not affect the end results by a significant factor. After all, who are the people who grab multiple times in a row? And anyway, even if you are waiting for those grabs to time out, then 1 hour before the grabs would time out, dogma or mrp will grab them anyway and ruin the grab. Them old people, eh?

Argument 2 - Noobs attack multiple times in a row. They don't know why, they just see a victorious sign and they like it. And they continue.
Why I agree with this - experienced players don't attack (usually) more than 2 times anyway. The land you receive gets significantly less anyway. Sure, there have been times (several per set) where adding a 3rd attack still gets you reasonable amount of land.

So what I am trying to say - yes, these two bad things might happen, but outside of top5 they are not a significant factor for the end result of the game.

Inside of top5 they are a problem indeed and they have an effect on the end result of the set.

I think we nee to agree on something relatedly simple. I think we should do a limit on top 5 only (makes more sense now) and then a limit for all else.

Thank you for posting PoldV. You will not get a ban for any attacks ever. But you may upset some people.

There are no official rules, I am trying to organize some rules here that we can all agree on.

I think The Helsinki accord has come to the following agreement, as per majority opinion:

Top5 - only 1 SA acceptable per 36 hours.

Top10 - 2 SA acceptable per 36 hours.

Below top10 - 3 SA, but not consecutive.

It seems it has not worked this set most of the time anyway in or out of top5 so maybe just 1 per top 5 in the first weeks is all that is needed and that can be controlled.
