News Thread?

Someone should make a thread or topic or whatever called NEWS. That way, people can put news stories that aren't all that entertaining in one nice topic, away from things that could be funny, and would be worth reading. I really don't care either way, but it just seems that most of the stuff under General Discussion is news. If I want news, I'll read the onion. If I want to be entertained, I will play games or read game forums. So entertain me *****es!
