The thing is, that the jury people fall for every stupid thing a lawyer makes up. I believe they need to change the jury regulations in the US, mainly to avoid putting up dumb people on the jury stand (no offence). But how else can you award money or some kind of settlement, because it doesn't state in the manual that while driving a motor home you go in the back to make a sandwich.
The second thing is that they need to do is to ban all the lawyers that make huge amount of money because of these settlements. I mean, how can you justify the stupidity of these people.
