I had wanted to run tanks again this set. Unfortunately other members didn't want to. Now considering breaking away to my own nation to run my state as I see fit.

Everything is viable if used properly, I did pretty well for myself last set with no indy tech and a mediocre NA at best (we were a small group). Not to mention my best finishes ever were done using tanks.
Though if you do one expensive unit like tanks/bombers, it may be best to use jets/inf as your 'cheaper' unit.
