As for oil prices... I do believe it's spectulation and I don't believe the republican party can control that.I know the whole supply and demand stuff but you can't tell me our demand doubled in over a year. Our demand did not double from 2007 to 2008, but the price per barrel did (from 70 to at one point 140).

You know the US isn't the only nation to use oil. India and China are demanding more and more oil every year because of their growing economies and wanting to keep them growing at that pace. Also, activities (civil war, terrorism, accidents, natural disasters) happening in countries that produce oil affect the amount of barrels produced. Also oil prices are for the world, not just the US. Global EconomyRon Paul for President!!

No one with half a brain now considers the war to be a good idea. AS KLL said, even GWB now knows it has not been the best idea. But, we are there, and now we have to deal with the consequences. Ok, that being said, if that is the only thing that anyone can consider in the Republican administration, then so be it. I for one, do not want to surrender and walk away as if you get a do over, you don't. It is there, it is going on, now we have to finish the mission.
