I think both threads could combine to a thread "I'm voting in united states because" and put all those things together. For example in other thread there were "I'm voting Democrat because I think the government will do a better job of spending my money than I could." - i think republicans are even better at spending other peoples money.

The reason that Americans are not talking about Canadian Elections is because Canadian Policy does not cause alot of discourse in the world.

USA politics is quite potent among humanity.


And thus worthy of much discussion.

because we are a major force in the global arena, canada is referred to as "whats-that-nations-name-again" u know the one north of USA. Canadian elections are like local councilman elections..sure they are in charge, but unless u live there, no one really cares.

I will agree, that Canada does not interest people as much, and the reasons are obvious.

We are not as powerful as the US, and even if we were, we would not garner as much interest, as we do not use our power in such intense and obstructive ways.

If you would like to Bash our politics, thats fine by me, I know they work fine, because no one hates Canada.

(aside from maybe Ranger, but only because I live in Canada)
