But in seriousness... socialism is needed for certain things like this, roads, Water (and I mean sewage pipes and water treatment etc.) electricity...

certain things in this day should be provided for all. not luxouries, but things that we all deserve, and can collectively work for.

Now comes the issue of not working.

If u are lazy then your electricity gets cut off, your water ect.

The only reason we pay taxes at all is so that the gov and "redistribute them"! So if I pay 3% less because I am middle class and people who make 250K in taxable income pay 3% more than currently that is fine by me. They can afford it!

And if I did make more than 250 I wouldnt mind paying 3% more in taxes in order to help out my fellow american brotheren!

But as the wealthier people take more advantage of all the thing provided to us by taxes such as roads, they should pay exponentially more IMO.

how do they use them so much more? they are only 1 person?

roads for example, a venture capitalist may never dirve across country, maybe he uses commercial or private flights to go places... but, he uses those roads we all built to turns a massive profit by moving building materials, and merchandise across the country, wearing those roads.

Why would a poor person pay for the construction and upkeep of roads, and bridges that he/she would never have any part in wearing down?

a wealthy man can be responsible for 1000's of trucks roaming our roads daily.
