Nation Wars Credit/Bank/Arcade system up and running!
Well FINALLY! The credit program is up and running. I'm sure there will be
a few bugs that will need to be worked out, so please if you run into
any, copy the error message and send me a PM and i'll fix it.
I'm going to go through each thing and give your a brief desc on how to
use it.
Game Prices:
I have set the game prices a little lower to start. I will prolly raise them
or even lower them if needed. Right now all games are 5 credits to play.
You don't pay upfront. As soon as you start playing a game it is deducted
from your acct. If you don't have the money to play, it will tell you.
You can purchase a arcade pass that is good for 1 week from purchase date. Right now these passes are 50 credits. (40 for prem acct holders)
Might adjust them later on.
With one of these passes you can play as much as you want for that week. ** YOU CAN'T WIN THE JACKPOT IF YOU PURCHASE A PASS.. YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE
GAME IN ORDER TO WIN THE JACKPOT**
Tournament Jackpots/Entrance fee: If you create a tournament you will have the option to set a entrance fee. Please keep in mind that at first
nobody is going to have a lot of cash. So please keep it affordable for all
or else nobody will join in. The jackpot is set to "raising". That means each
time someone pays to play in the tournament, there entrance fee goes
straight to the jackpot. The winner gets the prize, minus a 25% tax :-)
Paydays: Each day ALL of us gets paid. This may also be adjusted once
we get started.. Might be more, might be less.. I have changed the amounts that i posted last night. Here is what you get:
Reg members- 10 per day
Global Mods/ Mods/ Dev Group Leaders- 20 per day
Editors/Dev Team/Prem members - 15
Admins- 40 per day
There is no way to make it so those of you who are in more than one
group gets more. I think these are fair wages for the time being..
don't forget you make money by posting and replying and referring and
birthdays, and many other ways.. it's not like you have to live off just your
wage credits each day.. The more active you are on the forums, the more
benefits you get..
In order to keep a decent currency credit balance, all user groups have to
pay to play the arcade. Originally i was going to make it so prem members
had a free pass. I can't do this cause you would still make money and not
have anything to spend it on. Then when you are off the prem, you will
have a crap load of dead credits just sitting there.. BUT prem members do
have a lot of benefits too.
Lower interest rates on loans.
Lower loan payments
lower priced arcade passes (40 compared to 50 for everyone else)
Discounted ticket prices to play games (25% discount)
Earn more credits then reg members when posting.
Higher saving interest rate
plus all your other normal benefits you get. I will be adding more soon too.
But we have to keep you working the credit system like everyone else has
to in order to keep it working smoothly.
Bank:
This is probably the most important feature to know. This can be your best
friend or it can be your worst enemy.. Thing is it's up to you to decide how
you want it to be.. If you borrow money, YOU MUST PAY IT BACK! You
can set up payment plans so you don't have to remember, or you can make
payments when they are due. You will get auto PM reminders letting you
know it's due or if your late. You are scored on your repayments too. If
you don't make them, your score drops and you won't be able to borrow
money till you raise it back up. So be careful and only borrow what you
can afford to pay back. Right now the limit is set to 5000 per loan with
the option to take 2 loans. i may adjust this too if things get out of control.
Cash for Credit:
Soon there will be a option for members to log on to paypal and purchase
credits. You will get a lot of credits for a small amount of real cash.
Lottery:
You can purchase these tickets and take your chances. It's fully automated
and i have no control over who wins or loses. It tells you your odds of winning when you purchase a ticket. It draws a random number and if you
have it then you win it. It may pick a number nobody has and nobody wins.
If more than one wins then the pot is split between all winners. You are
able to pick your own numbers by entering it in the box then click the button. Or you can leave the random number in there and use that. It's up
to you. Go into user cp to buy these.
This will run each day so make sure you buy a ticket each day..

Raffles:
These are different than the lottery. Someone will win this. It pulls a
number out against the tickets that are purchased. Someone always wins
this type of drawing. To start with, these will run each day but i may change it to where we do it once a week..User Cp to buy these.
Losing Credits:
If your post gets deleted you lose credits. If you get warned, you lose
credits. If a warning gets reversed then you will get them back.
ok i think this gives you a decent overview of many of the options. There
are many more features to this program and the more you use it the more
you will see it. keep an eye on your bank accounts..
One main thing i want you all to know is this, Admins can't control anything
in this program. if you screw yourself then your screwed. We can't undo
it and won't undo it. So don't go borrow 10 grand in credits and then send
me a PM when you can't pay it back.. i won't fix it! Bad credit people lose
arcade privs as well as other privs too.. You have been warned!

them as soon as i can. Please report any issues. And please do not spam
this section so i don't have to go through a bunch of posts to read problems.
