Loans are off the wall. We have members who have taken 24million out in loans. there is no way to pay them back without taking out more loans which will only put them further in debt. At 15 credits per post it would take 1,600,000.00 posts to pay that off. I'm sorry to inform you all of this, but starting today all loans will be moderated. Each time BB or myself log in we will check the request log and then decide if you should get the loan or not. Our decisions will be based mainly on how much debt you already have as well as
your credit rating.
I am also setting up a new user group called "Bankrupt". A member who has over extended himself and is not able to pay back his/her loans can request to
be placed in this section. When you request this, you will not receive a paycheck each day and you will not be able to play the arcade, casino or VBookie for a period of 2 weeks.
Once the 2 weeks is up, then you will be placed back into your normal user group and given another chance to manage your credits wisely.
If a member needs to declare bankrupt again within a 6 month period of his last declaration then they will be placed in the bankrupt group for 2 months.
if it happens again a user will not be permitted to use any of the features again.
This system was put in place to make things fun and add a new element to the forums. It was not set up to be abused like it's being right now.
I'm sorry, i tried to leave it open so you all could take what you needed, but most of you have borrowed way more then you can pay back.
If you request a loan and neither of us are on, you will have to wait or ask someone to donate the credits to you till you get approved then you can pay them back. If you are a good credit user then you will have to make sure you are stocked up to cover the times we are not on. between BB and I we are on most of the time. But i'm not on alot during the weekends so that is when you need to make sure your covered.
any questions then please ask. if you can't cover your loan payments now then you need to speak to either BB or me about the whole bankrupt issue.
