I have the same issue can see shoutbox when i come to forums but dont see it after i log in.

If you log in while viewing a thread, then click on forum, you can see shoutbox. It's weird.

I don't understand the problem. I have my setting as auto-login (or it just never logs off) and I can see the chatbox fine.

I have gone in and checked Control Panel, and cannot see a reason you guys can't see it. It must be something on your end.
