Many sets ago we stopped deleting states at the end of the round. This helped the game look a little more active. Due to the low membership, when a new player did start he never had any grabs, so wrote a script to give some land and remove protection for states that sat idle for a week or more. This not only helps the game look a little more active, it also gives new people some grabs to make.judging by the bits i've seen the last 24 hours the game is still pretty much stacked against us...

I'm not a big fan of fake states, but I think it has helped us in a few ways. If the member logs back in, the auto script stops and the human takes over.

i've played for 48 hours now, with the 100k infantry i can break every state below rank 150 for 500-900 land. only thing limiting me is CS and rdy atm. i can understand the need to generate land,but i think there ought to be some unit generation as well
