Me and my roommates have 2 desktops and a laptop all using the same router and ISP. If my roommate wants to play will this be a violation of the rules.

Me and my brother have the same IP, but we both use our own laptops and we haven't been banned or anything. Just don't feed each other and it shouldn't be a problem.

Just don't log in on the same machine
You might want to send a message to Mr P, just giving him a heads up in case the system flags you for being a multiple account.
Like everyone has already said though, just don't log in from the same computer and you should be fine.
