Found some of these gems on an old hard drive

Member In The Spotlight Mr President Of [USA]

About How Long Have You Been Playing WoW?

    almost 4 yrs

At an overall how would you rate the game and community?

1-10 I rate the game a 10. and the same for the community. we have a great group of members who play this game.

What Is Your Current Position In WoW and the Community?

I am the President of the United States of America [USA], as for the wow community, hmmm not sure can't really answer the community question.. guess I would like to think I am a solid member of the community doing all I can to help the game and the community.

Do you See Yourself As a role model to the community?

I would like to think I am. I set certain standards that are fair and I train my members to play with the same attitude..

Where Do You See Yourself In A Few Years? Still Playing WoW?

I really hope so. I hope the game grows back to the way it was and that I?m still around when it does.
The USA has been here for almost 4 yrs. we are one of the last original nations from that time frame. and as long as I?m still playing, the USA will still be here.

What is WoWs Biggest Pro/Biggest Con ?

biggest pro- the community and the way the game is set up to play. you have a choice on how you want to play. other games it's kill of be killed.... biggest con- the cheaters who are ruining the game for so many others. I?m sure it is hard to track them down, but there has to be other ways we can. it bothers me cause svenne made a nice game for all of us to enjoy and they go and do crap like that.
if I was him, I would be disappointed in how people are today. go out of his way to make it fun, and they go out of there way to ruin it.

Who is your favorite person in WoW?

I don't have a favorite.. I like many people in this game.

What About WoW would you change?

I like it the way it is.. maybe try to improve advertisements a little to get more people and maybe add missiles or something to bring back diplomacy issues and deals to get people interacting more.. but for the most part, I like it the way it is.

    Why Mr President? Why [USA]?

love the name, love the country

What Is Your Life Like Out Of WoW? Family? Friends?

my job keeps me busy. I have a great family and many good friends

    Any Last Words?

.. no I will say that I normally don't do interviews.. this is only about the second one I have done. normally I say no and send you to the sec of state.

    Well Thank you Mr. President

no problem... good luck getting the position. I think it's a great idea.. it will keep updated events in wow.. we will have our own WoW daily planet.

So Bram how long have you been around the community?
“I've been with NW for two months, now (i guess) I've been with WoW much longer, tho not as long as you(Pcgluva). I've tried NW I several times, but it couldn't really interest me. Probably with the eras and stuff. I like NW II better, it somehow reminds me of WoW a bit.”

What’s your favorite part of the new NW?
“Hard to say, as I haven't warred yet. The fact that you can stock. I am a stocker, some of the readers know (Hoe & Dennis), but the rest just sees a small state jumping from 4.5 mil networth to 45 mil in 2 seconds
and I still have a "small" reserve. I didn't have the feeling that casher was a real strat in NW I, it owns here. Also the fact that I can keep on stocking while staying a small state. Nr.1 has 338 million networth, I have 43 million networth. By staying small, I can keep the upkeep low, thus make more money. Oh, can I say thank you to all that have attacked me? They have killed my military and lowered my food cost That's what I like about this NW”

Now that we herd your stance on the game what about the community, Who’s your favorite person around Nation Wars and why?
“My favorite person... Idk really. I like Mr.P because he makes me laugh. He kinda lost the severe character he had when playing WoW. He definetly changed for the better I like Ooga, coz he's always drunk while posting, which gives funny results. I like Dogma because I can sight him I like k959, killerclown, Hoe, you(Pcgluva), and all the rest that keep this community alive. I just like the community!”

What is your favorite feature on our forums?
“The forums, I like the arcade, the vBookie, the Casino and stuff, but without the forums, that would just be another site. Now this site is special to me. Only because of the forums.”

Do you activly participate in polls, and hot discussions?
“Don't really participate in polls. I mean, I vote and I post an answer, but unless it concerns the game, it doesn't concern me. I'm the only player from Belgium and I'm one of the youngest players, so most discussions don't interest me or don't concern me. I've said some things in the abortion thread (Life or Choice), but that's the only discussion I've participated in.”

Do you think there’s anything we can do to get more activity on the forums?
“No, I think everything is as it should be.
Perhaps getting the old WoW game up and running would bring back some old players, but I think most have "moved on".
It's a pitty Svenne doesn't play. I think he would be proud of what Mr.P, warl0rd, BB and you have done.”

So Bram Gotink where did that originate?
    “Nowhere that’s me!”

So Bram Gotink is your name?
“Yeah. I've tried some other names, like Ashen-Shugar (i did spell that wrong tho), but that name just fits perfectly”

Tell us about yourself? What are you into?
“Me? I'm 17, I live in Belgium and I'm graduating from school this year. I dunno the english name for the school, but in America it would be High School (I think). I love maths, unlike others. I have 8 hrs of math per week, which is one fourth of school. I wanna have the same job as my dad has : programmer. That's why I chose to study "burgerlijk ingenieur" (some sort of engineer) with option computer-sciences next year.Outside of school, I have my pc and my bro's PS3. On the PC, I play games about war : Nation Wars, GuildWars, Tribalwars (hence the picture), LotR Battle for Middle-Earth II and so on. On the PS3, I play Warhawk and Assassins' Creed.Outside of that, I hang out with my brother and two of my neighbours, talking about everything and discussing the meaning of life”

    Any family or friends ingame?
“Nope. My brother played WoW one set, but we had to share a computer and svenne banned both of us right : one of my other nicknames used to be rampie. I forgot that one completely. don't use it anymore. I made a new account and continued playing, my brother didn't. I made a new account and continued playing, my brother didn't”

Any chance on getting him back?
“I don't think so. He needs blood. He doesn't want to see a movie if it doesn't have killing and blood in it.”

I see well lets close this up, anything else youd like to say to the community?
“Not really, just that Ooga shouldn't drink and postand Dogma should spam a bit”

    Pcgluva
You [Royals] recently declared on [[LoR] what was your reasoning?
    Calvin74
To show Svenne how broken NW killing, is and get it changed before someone uses it to ruin Average NW records
    Pcgluva
    How do you propose that?
    Calvin74:
separate killed NW from gained NW as it doesn't take any skill to kill NW but it takes a lot to gain NW
    Pcgluva
What is with the whole Kill Stealing Scandal
    Calvin74
I killed a [LoR] guy so that it didn't inflate [WLF]'s Average Networth to screw with any records or show anything they didn't earn
I talked with hoe about it and he understood my reasoning
    Calvin74
then he caved to his guys and killed a good legit player so they could screw someone’s set over
in the process he also broke a nap we had
    Pcgluva
But take a kill in 18 attacks that [WLF] had spent over 200 attacks on do you find that fair, right now the NW is combined so it is legal to war for net?
    Calvin74
they obviously aren't warring for net or they would be higher now wouldn't they,
so you are saying that b/c I killed [LoR] who they are at war with then they have the right to break a pact and kill my guy?
    Pcgluva
No I am neutral on this situation I am going to talk to hoe also, I am asking questions, It is not right for them to break a pact I understand but what besides the net problem for svenne possessed you to kill that state?
    Calvin74
b/c what is the point of netting if you can lose it so fast just so someone w/ less talent that can't earn it on there own will take it, no wonder there are no real netters playing anymore
    Pcgluva
so your attacks were to gain the net yourself and not let [WLF] get it isn’t that the same thing you have done by killing the [LoR] state and now killing more?
    Calvin74
no I don't care about getting the NW
royals didn't need that to get 2nd
and I don't count killed NW in real NW
    Calvin74
royals earns our NW with skill not with cheap tactics and getting lucky
    Pcgluva
Ok thank you Calvin any last words on the situation?
    Calvin74
I just think that it is sad that a bad leader chases out so many good players simply b/c when he tries to manipulate wow to his liking the tables get turned on him and he can't handle it then

About How Long Have You Been Playing WoW?

    2-3 years tops

At an overall how would you rate the game and community?

Well the community is excellent, aside from a few trouble makers, we have one of the closest and most welcoming communities in the game world. The game itself however, sometimes I feel may get to complicated for new guys, especially since its wide known that most game players are younger, while in contrast older players may find the formulas very easy to figure out and they will probably enjoy there success. The system of nations is very basic and could use some working on.

What Is Your Current Position In WoW and the Community?
I'd like to think of myself as something a little less then a vet, and alot more then a newb. I am also one of the Tutors, and I've seen more action with the new guys then ever before, so thats definantly a positive. I am also one of the "vets" of WLF. Some people think we have bad intentions toward the game (wars) but were just having fun.

Where Do You See Yourself In A Few Years? Still Playing WoW?

Sadly, no. I'm actually thinking of making July my last set.

    Will You Come Back?

I'll probably "lurk" around WoW as most retired people do, but I won't play a real serious set again.

Who is your favorite person in WoW?

Pcgluva of course . Honestly I admire Calvin and Maggio. Maggio introduced me to the nation system about.....hmmm....2 and a half years ago, long time, with some noob nation that he recruited me to. Thats where I learned strats and whatnot. I have had a few talks with Calvin and hes a really great guy, fun to chat with and hes helped me time to time with my (infinite) questions and once or twice with some suspicions I have had about cheaters. I could go forever about people I admire in World of War

Why the name change to chris, why not stay at torrent?

Torent*, everyone else from another game knew me as Chris so it was just more to avoid confusion then anything. Not to mention a certain.......set......in chaos Involving the Omega Force and a very evil man by the name of Sean(pcgluva)

Want to tell the people of WoW what happened?

No thank you, its fine enough

What Is Your Life Like Out Of WoW? Family? Friends?

Hehe, I love baseball. I've been following Louisiana's Little League Team (Thats right guys, I play Little League). My team got beat out in the semi-finals for the State Ship. So I've been doing some traveling. My friend Mike however, is going whip Kansas this Saturday so I'm going up there with him, we need 2 more wins to make it to the LLWS (Little League World Series). Would be the first time my small town actually goes on the map. Aaah, my family . You want a delineation of nutcase, check me out . Just to prove my point, last week my dad brought home a $2,000 slush machine called "Alligator Ice", we had it sitting in the middle of the kitchen and we tried to put the stuff in, it exploded and we had red juice all over the floor.

    Any Last Words?

This is the dumb....wait huh? Your still interviewing me? What do you mean that on tape? -runs and hides-

About How Long Have You Been Playing WoW?

I began Playing WoW Mid-May 2006, Some people may recall a Nation being created called Nation of the Dead? Had a funny join up to it? That, was me.

No idea about game, total n00b

What Is Your Current Role In The Community?
Officially, I am Co-Leader in the AF Nation, but with Raul away due to real life, would probably have to say "Co-Leader" still, as soon I found out I was suddenly running a Nation, I called in some friends I had made here. I am a firm believer in delegating, and have created "positions" within the AF nation. We have several "Co-Leaders", and I think I am just the "voice" behind the Nation. Not the best qualified, in my eyes, but that's how it turned out.

As a whole how would you describe AF?
As funny as it sounds, like a big family. A lot of returnees from previous sets, friendly atmosphere. I am open to suggestions and ideas, which makes it real easy to become friends with someone. We disagree on some things, like real families, but all in all I have contact with most of the states even outside the game now.

At an overall how would you rate the game and community?
The game is great, I like seeing so much enthusiasm in it. Active forum, suggestions, people aren't just playing, they're helped improve it, make it even better. You don't find that in a lot of online games. When I first saw the game, I thought, "oh, another turn-based", but then I signed up, and can't leave the computer since!

Where Do You See Yourself In A Few Months/Years? Still Playing WoW?

Definitely, as it's not only about the game, although that is a large part, but learning new people, being active in the forum, not only in game-related, but General info also. You ARE the game, every action you do, every word you say. And that feeling makes you stay I think. I think a lot of the new players that leave would've stayed if they had spent 10 minutes in the Forums.

Who is your favorite person in WoW?

Wow, well, without Svenneman we wouldn't all be here, but brown-nosing won't get me more turns, so I would have to say Worms, the first person that came to mind when I was chosen/stuck/elected Leader of AF for the time being. Although MANY people from MANY nations have been helpful in my "learning experience", Worms has been a key part in AF staying in the Top 5, helping me with certain decisions, or a tip here and there. If I am the voice to AF, he is the backbone, more helpful than he admits, less credited than he should be.

What Is Your Life Like Out Of WoW? Family? Friends?

8 years Cav Scout, civilian now. Wife and 4 children. Stuck in Germany at the moment, but hoping to be Stateside next year. I have a kick for Karaoke, and it has rubbed off on my kids. This summer at a Karaoke contest, my 5 yr old, my 13 yr old, and myself won 1st place for our age groups. A lot of friends, all over the world, but lately work demands and getting ready for the big move have given me less time for them.

For those who don’t know what is a Cav Scout?
Cavalry Scout, First in, Last out. In the Army. We sneak in, in front of the main forces, into the enemy lines, note positions, equipment, numbers. Then call in air support or arty (Artillery), watch the fireworks. Try to make life easier for the Main Task Force. Where Special Forces uses the back door to their Objective, we use the front.

    Ah Like the US Marines?

Although Marines more hardcore, they'd go in , check it out, and probably run it over themselves. The best scout is the one never seen, has never had to fire his weapon

I Might Join the us army a I get older, would you recommend it?

I recommend to everyone a tour in the military. Builds Pride, Responsibility, Teamwork, Honor. ALMOST every memorable time in my life was done in a uniform.

    Any Last Words?

Hmm, That doesn't sound very nice! hehehe! Seriously, everyone should enjoy the game, and remember, It's just a game. A big thanks to Svenneman for making the game possible, and a special Thanks to Worms, so it's official!

Can you give me an overview of your current situation with LOR and Royals?
What is going on why the declarations?
    Hoebawt
Well There are many reasons for war out there but I believe the truth is that LOR hit us because Devil knew i would help Chris and Royals hit us Because they heard of the rumor of a WLF and CB joint strike on Royals which isnt true.
    Pcgluva>
Now what is going on with royals "stealing a kill"?

    Hoebawt:
Well Calvin was a snake and stole our kill which was a top ten state and expected us to do nothing since we had a nap, well he was wrong.

    Pcgluva
Do you think that Calvin did it out of spit or for his own gain ?
    Hoebawt:
    spit and his own gain
    Pcgluva
What were your repercussions after his stolen kill?
    Hoebawt
He lost his top state less then 24 hours later, not bad for a group of restarts huh.
    Pcgluva
Was Calvin the only state that took part in stealing your kill?
    Hoebawt
Yes he was but he did msg his nation telling them to "steal the kill and **** WLF" which was the opposite of what he was telling me on msn.
    Pcgluva
what was he telling you on msn
    Hoebawt
that he didn’t steal it he did it so he can use this as an example of why ANK shouldn’t be added to the ANG, which in my opinion is fine the way it is
    Pcgluva
So you broke your pact and declared on Royals, for a full out war or revenge?
    Hoebawt says (5:10 PM):
See here’s where I differ, the way I see it is Calvin broke the pact when he pulled his little stunt and I didn’t declare on royals for a full out war I did it for a retail on the NW they stole if they want a full out war im fine wit it but they will lose their other top ten state in a few hours then.
    Pcgluva:
    Any last words
    Hoebawt
Well Calvin decided to be a snake and jump in and steal the kill from us expecting us to let it be since we have a NAP wit Royals no. A nap wit WLF doesn’t give u the right to steal our kills and to bad mouth my tag either. Don’t steal our kills or then all your base belong to mine

since the game started, around 2000 i think
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:28 PM):
was one of the first players
    Pcgluva>Sean>[Dak] says (5:28 PM):
Being one of the first players how has the game changed since then?
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:29 PM):
World of war has made great progress from the early days, i know a lot of vets, myself included like to rant that everything was better in the old days...
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:29 PM):
    but it aint
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:30 PM):
we had a lot of bug abuse, exploits, server problems and a game that was quite limited in its gameplay
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:31 PM):
since then the game has grown and evolved, attracting more and more players, fostering friendships and creating a common meetingground for folks from all over the world
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:32 PM):
the meetingground is still there, even though some "vets" like me and totte are losing touch with it...
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:33 PM):
the game has progressed, and so have the players of old....six years is quite a lot, and svenne deserves a big hand of applause for bringing up the energy to continue
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:33 PM):
    as far as gameplay changes..
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:33 PM):
wow grew a bit too fast for it's own good
    Pcgluva>Sean>[Dak] says (5:34 PM):
What is your current role in the WoW Community? (IE Leader, Mod, Ect)
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:35 PM):
I've been leader, mod, dev member, and a pariah of wow, now i'm simply here to enjoy myself with friends and setting up the EURO tag for next set
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:36 PM):
in the end my loyalty will always be with the people i trust, respect and meet online....not a nation
    Pcgluva>Sean>[Dak] says (5:37 PM):
Ah The Well Known Euro tag to most members, For the new guys can you tell them why EURO had a big history?
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:39 PM):
In the old days it was quite common for entire tags to join from earth2150, so did we.... we came over from RAGE, at that time one of the dominating nations in earth. After a big internal fight about the use of a food bug i found rage got split up
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:40 PM):
I was at college at the time and me and 10 classmates decided we'd set up a tag with everyone in 1 timezone, for coordinated striking
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:40 PM):
so the EURO tag was set up.
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:41 PM):
The big tags at the time like camelot, obs, sirdaf were soon turning to netting and we got bored
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:42 PM):
so we decided to set up a phonetree system were we would actually call folks on their cell if they were under attack...recall pulling Calvin of the golfcourse with a transatlantic call...
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:44 PM):
We decided to break the boredom by implementing retal policies we know would be broken, (warhits, dest ops, double or tripple tapping repeated harassment from one tag on euro) and warred. So far nothing special you'd prob say
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:45 PM):
except we don't care who we retal, numerous times we have implemented our retal policy on nations 3 or even 5 times bigger than us. Fully well knowing it was suicide, but sticking with the principle....you look at us....we'll kill you
    Adriaan | SoulSearcher|EURO recruiting says (5:46 PM):
A lot of grudgematches resulted, sometimes even going sofar that numerous nations would preemtive strike us.....something we always apreciated
    Pcgluva>Sean>[Dak] says (5:47 PM):

    Royals The New Powerhouse

    Royals The New Power House

The Protectors of the Tequila covered toothbrush have returned. Calvin and BB brought back The Royal Squadron [Royals]. Royals was an old nation from back in the day. BB decided it was time to bring them back, bringing a few old vets with her also. Royals came back with a bang. Warring longtime powerhouse LOR. In the past few sets LOR had owned the community in members, net, and warring. Smaller nations tried to fight them The Dark Underworld [Dark], Empire [E], The Mighty Soviet Union [USSR] are some of the few.
This set it seems that LOR has quite a few members than the norm. Is it the fact the Royals have “shut them down”, or is it the old LOR trick of splitting up and hiding members. What does LOR have up its sleeve, and what is in store for the Royals.
Royals is now leading in net, the have a great assortment of new and old members. BB and Calvin have brought back more members. Completely running away with 1st place right now. Will someone catch them? Will someone out net james? We will see!

.:an editorial concerning the World-of-War online game:.

Major changes in World of War.

Contrary to what many people on the forums believe, their
complaints do not go unnoticed. Evidence of this is the large number of changes that have been completed by Svenneman – Game and Community Leader of WoW. These changes include a combination of both incentives for recruitment of new players as well as fundamental changes to how the game functions.

    Creation of in game polls.
    a
There have been plenty of occasions when brilliant ideas suggested by the community have not been implemented for various reasons, one of which was the lack of knowledge on the behalf of Svenneman and the Dev. Group (a group of experienced players who advise Svenneman on ideas and changes to the game) on whether these changes are wanted by the community as a whole (since many members do not visit the sections of the World of War forums where these debates and discussions are held). This is no longer a setback however since now, whenever a player logs into his World of War ingame account he will be presented with a poll with various options to choose from. Once all active members have voted (polls are usually open for 1-2 weeks) the results are tallied and If there is a majority vote for one of the options then the change goes ahead. An example of a recent change made to how the game is played is the ability for states to now make war attacks such as Air Raids without nations having to declare war [LINK]

    Updated front page.
To keep World of War up to date and appealing to the mass community, the portal page is constantly undergoing updates to show the recent developments made by Svenneman and his Dev. Group. The Portal Page (accessible at: www.world-of-war.com) now shows ingame screen shots as well as having links to the World of War Wiki page, the World of War forums and a link to a comprehensive manual on how to play World of War.

    A new referral system.
In a bid to continually increase the membership of the thriving World of War community, Svenneman has introduced a new referral system. Current players are now rewarded with Premium Accounts if they are get their friends and family to sign up for (and play!)World of War. More information can be found at the following address: [LINK]

    A new Shout Box.
One of the most interesting new changes to World of War has been the reintroduction of the “Shout Box” system. This ingame channel allows players to communicate with each other without using MSN or other programmes. This has proven to be very useful and easy way for new players to get lots of help and supervision from more experienced players who are always ready to help them when needed with advice and suggestions.

Removal of total networth from nation score lists.
One of the complaints received by Svenneman and his team from major parts of the community was the rule in World of War where the Networth Killed by a nation would be added to its overall Networth. It was felt by many that this gave both an unfair advantage to nations which actively engaged in warring and were able to kill very large states towards the end of the game and get a high Networth boost as a result whilst also discriminating against nations which had engaged in conflicts from an earlier date and as a result where not able to accumulate the same amount of Networth killed, simply because states are much smaller at the beginning of the “round”! This new change means that whilst Networth Killed is still acknowledged by the ingame Rankings table, it shall not be added on towards the nations end of game Total networth, thus putting all nations on a more level playing field (nations can still compete in who has killed the most Networth though!)

Nation members are no longer penalized by the "4 member limits" when the nation falls below 4 live states at war.
A major complaint among many players (especially those in small nations) was the rule that meant that if a nation was to have less than 4 (live) members at any point in time; it would lose the ability to use the NA (national army) and Dev. Tech (technology which increases production). This rule had in the past put small nations at a huge disadvantage when warring; especially if they were the ones attacked since they were left very vulnerable once they went below the 4 member number, losing the protection of the NA. This new change now means that small nations have a larger chance when fighting the bigger nations of World of War and will still be able to take advantage of the NA and their Dev Tech.

Recent Developments in Foreign Affairs: Val vs LoR
The World of War community witness what was possibly one of the quickest declarations by any nation on another. Many thought (including me) that this was a joke declaration until we saw the dead LoR states pilling in.
Many believe that this is a prelude to the bigger war between LoR and USA which many have predicted to occur this set. So far the score is 3-1 to VaL with RAF and Kenshin being killed in the first wave of VAL’s attacks.

    Member in the Spotlight: Anton.

Each newsletter we try to get a prominent member of World of War to tell us something about himself and his career and achievements in World of War.

Journalist: When did you begin playing World of War? Your ingame forum account suggests 2005 yet your achievements and comments suggest much longer!

Anton: This is true. I first began playing World of War somewhere in 2003.

Journalist: Tell us about how you found the game?

Anton: Well, I’m pretty sure that I discovered this game the same way that many other people have. I was researching a history assignment on World War Two. One of the many Google links which I was browsing through led me to this game, and here I am now, 4 years on.

    Journalist
: Tell us about your first sets in World of War. Which nation where they in and with whom?

Anton: I began playing a very long time ago. I don’t remember precisely what happened in those far away days but what I do remember is getting several of my friends to play in a nation with me (we made our own one obviously). We competed with each other until we were invited by the Leader of Umbar to join his nation. I remember spending at least two sets there (through browsing the game statistics) before my knowledge goes blank.

Journalist: So you and your friends stopped playing at that point till 2005?

    Anton
: Well…you are half right; my friends haven’t played this game since (at least those ones). I myself however began playing on the other server, I think it was called Chaos and played that for a long time in my own nation. I didn’t know how to play back then and didn’t visit the forums and that whole experience culminated in my nation getting eliminated after I went on holiday (I think it had something to do with me AAing people who SAed my states).

    Journalist: So what next?

Anton: Well I stopped playing the game (mainly due to family reasons) before remembering about it one day in 2005 and signing up again.

    Journalist: Who did you join?

    Anton
: I was recruited by DaK. I’m still grateful for this because DaK is one of the best nations in WoW and had amazing players who taught me how to play the game (Punisher, Cemetary, Gnorf, Raven, Recca, Boostah …in no particular order).

    Journalist
: Give us a quick account of your WoW “life” please.

    Anton
: Well…DaK was a warring nation which didn’t accept any BS. We warred cheaters many times…When we weren’t warring cheaters we were warring against the odds. I remember how we took on LOTR in my 2nd set I think. The nation was much much bigger than us in terms of players and networth, yet we managed to totally annihilate them virtually without loses. Other famous wars included our many wars with the Evil of WoW- LoR which I still maintain we won (although the last war was extremely devastating to both nations)

    Journalist
    : Life after DaK?

    Anton
: Yes…unfortunately DaK disbanded and I drifted around a couple of nations (FED, PX etc) before settling down in WLF a nation with which I have played over 10 sets now!

    Journalist
: What is your role in the WoW community?

Anton: Well…I am always and foremost a warrior who is always looking to combat the “Evil of WoW” and helping his friends in WoW. Sometimes I net…not often…but when I did I got a top 10 finish, something I’m still proud of today considering that I achieved very early in my carrier.

Journalist: Overall how would you rate the game and the forum community?

Anton: I really like the game. It’s addictive and fun. I’ve made many friends in it with whom I regularly talk on MSN. The forums are also fun. Although I have to admit that I am annoyed at how some people label me a “spammer”…I believe that a game forums primary purpose is to have fun and enjoy one self within the rules presented by Svenneman (ie no porn etc). Otherwise its very good and informative for new players.

    Journalist
: Where Do You See Yourself In A Few Months/Years? Still Playing Wow?

Anton: I plan on continuing on playing WoW until at least the may-June time when I will stop due to exams.

Journalist: Who is your favourite player in WoW?

Anton: Hard to say…I really like the WLF crew: Hoebawt, Bozman and Z. I’m also on very good terms with RIS – a very good DaK player (of whom not many have heard of before unfortunately).

    Journalist: Life outside WoW?

Anton: Exams, Exams, Exams. This is my final year in school; I plan on finishing with top marks. I’m currently deciding on whether to apply to American Universities. If I do then it will definitely be a very interesting year since I will have to increase my involvement in various extra curricular activities.

    Journalist
    : Predictions for this set:

Anton: Dead states. Lots of dead states.
